All Nations have shameful episodes. The relationship with the past is a terrain where memory and history face each other, thus, legitimate claims and moral duties coexist with manipulation, Manichaeism, and the inconvenient possibility of a present overruled by the past.
For this issue, Art Director Fernando del Villar requested a copycat of Banksy. The pitch was to develop an illustration series based on the style of this controversial character and reproduce his iconic style.
I do admire Banksy –who doesn't– therefore the assignment was a real treat.
