In Mexico, according to government figures, between thirty-five thousand and forty thousand people have died in the last five or six years, and the author is incapable of providing additional insight into the description of these victims. That he cannot do the last is not too important, what is truly striking is that neither the government nor the press can. The lack of knowledge about identities, that is, the absolute absence of information revealing the non-existence of names, currently causes us to call this situation by another name: terrorism.
